F 602 CB

The Jøtul F 602 CB is the best-selling woodstove ever produced. It is also the smallest woodstove on the market. It is Alcove approve for the US and Canada as well as the lowest priced EPA Cast-Iron wood-burning stove on the market.

This wood stove is so simple it only has one air control lever to operate the entire stove.  The Jotul F 602 CB has a maximum heat output of 28,000 BTU/hr which ca heat up to 800 sq. ft.  The maximum log length for this stove is 16 inches and fully loaded it can burn up to 5 hours on low setting.  The effiecency rating on this stove is 75%.

Jotul F3CB

The Jotul F3CB is their mid size wood burning stoves alternative. Today this stove has quickly become their best seller because of price and how easy it is to use.  One unique feature with the F3CB is the 5 different color options that you can choose from. It produces 42.000 BTU/hr which translates into 1800 sq. ft.  it is rated at 75% efficiency. Talk about sustainable heat.

The Jøtul F 100 Nordic QT's claim to fame is this stove has the largest window viewing area of all cast iron wood stoves in it's class.  Cool huh?

The F100 is a non-catalytic stove can put more heat into your room without sacrificing your wood pile.

Like the 602 it burns at a 75% efficiency rating, heat output of 35,000 BTU/hr and will heat up to 1000 sq. ft.  You will need to cut your logs at 16 inches to fit into this wood stove. The max burn time of the F100 is 6 hours at a low setting.

One of the unique features of this stove is the finish options that are available to you.  You can either get the F100 Nordic QT in Matte black (shown) or a Blue/Black enamel finish.

 


Jotul Firelight F600 CB

F 600 CB Jotul Firelight

The Jøtul Firelight F600 CB is the top of the line wood stove for Jotul. It is the largest cast iron wood stove and cranks out a mind boggling 81,500 BTU/hr. Translated it will heat a 2,500 sq. ft. building or home.

If you look closely at the picture you'll see a double door feature that is unique to the wood stove industry. This allows you to place 24" logs into this stove and receive a 75% efficiency rating.  No need to worry about dirty glass as they provide a air-washed system to help keep the glass clean.  The F600 reminds me of the Franklin Wood Stoves.

Jotul Oslo F500 CB

The Oslo F500 CB is almost as big as the F600 CB and uses the newest non-catalytic technology to achieve amazing results. It can heat up to 2000 sq. ft. or 40,000 BTU/hr.  You can place logs as long as 22 inches in this wood burning stove and expect a clean combustion burn time of 9 hours at low settings.

  • We've had ours for three winters now, and it is used constantly from about October to March, everyday. It heats our living room, but our house is big and four finished floors. The rest of the house stays cold and we use a gas boiler to keep the house around 65 degrees. The living room is over 100 near the woodstove, which feels great in the winter. It drops to 75 or so just 15 feet away, so ...
  • I have a love-hate relationship with this stove. When it works right it's great, but at times it will overheat, no matter what I do. Even with the doors shut tight, the primary air intake shut down all the way and the damper on the chimney closed, it will still burn like a blast furnace. What doesn't make sense is that at other times it is perfectly well behaved.
